--- HELP ! I have alot of aloe plants that I have been growing to apply to my skin. I noticed last year that some of my aloe plants have a yellow juice that comes out when they are first cut. I put some on my arms and face and it felt weird. NOW I have read that the yellow juice is poisoinous and should not be used. AND I have read the aloe can be eaten and rubbed on the skin. How do I use my aloe ? Is the yellow juice toxic ? CAN I EAT the aloe gel inside the plant ? I have fair skin that gets dry and flakey like and aloe gel straight from the plant makes it dissappear for a few days per application. Can someone with experience with the aloe plants please tell me how to use and apply the plant safely to my skin A N D if I can eat the raw plant after I peel it ? Best Regards, Duane / jax. FL
