Acne Treatment for Children
Acne is a skin condition and this skin disease affects many children. In some cases, people with mild acne do not take any medications or treatment for reducing acne.

People who are suffered from any types of acne should wash the affected area before starting any treatment. People must use cosmetics products oil free such as moisturizers, cleanser, lotions and many.
Over the counter medications are very effective to reduce the acne in children. These medications are very useful to fight against bacteria, for unclogging pores and healing all form of acne. In market, many brands and forms of benzoyl peroxide available such as creams, lotions and gels. People who have acne use the high dose of benzoyl peroxide.
If skins of children do not show any improvement in 4 to 8 weeks, they should go to the pediatrician for treatment of acne.
Prescription medications for treatment of acne
Prescription medications such as antibiotic like Clindamycin or Erythromycin are very effective to remove acne from the surface of the skin. Benzamycin is also very effective and teenagers should take it along with erythromycin and benzoyl peroxide to treat acne. Patients can refrigerate it for long time. There is no need of refrigerating Benzaclin and Duac drugs.
The Retin A drug with topical antibiotic is recommended by the doctors to treat acne. People should take the dose as directed by the doctors such as 0.05% or 0.025% cream for decreasing irritation of the skin. Parents can be applied small amount of this drug on each acne in children after cleaning the face with soap and water. And let leave it for a few minutes and wash it.
This is not good that apply this cream on the wet affected area as it can create irritation of the skin. Acne treatment for children includes Tazorac, Differin and Azelex to remove acne.
Children, who have no improvement after taking prescription drug to treat acne, can take oral antibiotic to remove acne from the body rapidly. Tetracycline and Minocycline are also good option for removing acne in children. The girls who have acne to reduce acne from the skin’s surface can take the birth control pills.
