It is a type of protein which acts as a natural component for the human body and restores the texture and normal appearance of the skin. These injections provide benefit to the acne patients which lasts about three to six months.

There are various types of lasers used in this treatment which depends upon the outcome of the treatment. Sometimes, carbon dioxide laser can be used for the removal of the scar tissue.
Microdermabrasion
The aluminum oxide crystals are used in this treatment which passes through a vacuum tube and removes the skin’s surface. Many procedures are required as it removes only the surface cells of the skin and does not remove the scars permanently.
Skin Grafting
This treatment is done when extensive and massive tunnels remain unroofed by the dermabrasion treatment and cause production of sebum and infection like bacteria in the sebaceous follicles and clogged the pores. So, this treatment is necessary so that defects of the unroofed sinus tracts made by any treatment can be closed.
Autologous Fat Transfer
The fat is taken from the other side of the body and then injection is injected into the skin. The fat is injected along with the injection beneath the skin’s surface and removes the defects which are caused due to scars developed from the nodulocystic acne. It takes long time to absorb the fat into the skin and requires multiple procedures.
Skin Surgery
In this treatment, ice pick scars are removed by the punch excision and scar is excised to the subcutaneous fat and the holes which are made in the skin are repaired with a skin grafting or sutures. Sometimes, subcision is also done to remove the scar tissue and elevates a depressed scar.
