If your aim is losing weight, try to abstain from eating junk food.
When trying to lose weight one should eat less food instead of more food.
If you want to lose weight you should create a proper workout routine and get glued to it.

Flip over the container or the box that contains the food stuff to know how many calories, carbohydrates , fat and protein that food contains and then consume it.

Drink as much water as frequently as possible.

The fat in potato chips differ from the fat in nuts and fish. The fat that's in nuts and fish (and fish oil supplements) is better for weight loss than the fat that is in potato chips.

High protein foods are actually higher in protein than low protein foods.

Losing more then 1 or 2 pounds a week is not a healthy sign.

Abstain from chips, candy, fast food, fried food,  cookies, cake, saturated fats and get rid of the bad fat that is not needed.

Avoid foods like sugar, white bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, etc. which are high in bad carbohydrates

Consume high protein/good carbohydrates /low fat foods like tuna fish (and other seafood), chicken breast, turkey, whole grains, fruits and vegetables etc.

Weightlifting  is not only great for muscles but also for losing weight because muscles burn calories.

Never starve yourself.

Sleep at least 8 hours at night.

Control your craving for food.

Don’t buy  any weight loss pills or books on losing weight, instead,  use the money you just saved to buy some good food or a gym membership.

You have to be mentally and physically dedicated  to lose weight.
