How is eyebrow waxing done?
Skin is properly cleaned with soap and water. Powder is applied to get rid of excess oils. Hot or cold (as customer wishes) wax is heated and applied thinly over skin. Wax is taken out using a strip of muslin or linen. Hot treatment is mostly preferred because it’s quick. Eyebrow waxing can be done at home with help of someone.
To ease the pain during eyebrow waxing ice should be rubbed over the area.
Post waxing care
After the waxing is over, a toner or astringent should be swiped over. Giving a little massage with moisturizer will soothe the skin and avoid redness.
Disadvantages of eyebrow waxing
Waxing is much more painful and causes skin irritation. Waxing may not result in perfect shape and most of the times lead to acne problem. It can also lead to pulling of skin which leaves scar and early development of wrinkles.
