Topical Treatment for Acne
Tropical treatments prescribed for acne are:

A topical antibiotic lotion applied to the skin controls the propionobacterium acne’s bacteria. The treatment is for atleast six months.

Azelaic acid causes less skin soreness.

Topical retinoid are the medicines based on the vitamin A, and they re rubbed into skin once or two times a day. They encourage the outer layer of skin to flake off, and also may cause irritation and skin peeling at the start of treatment.
Oral treatment acne’s

Oral antibiotics should be taken for three months to kill the bacteria infecting the skin. Antibiotics do not prevent the pores from blocking so treatment to prevent blackheads is prescribed at the same time. The success is not 100% because the strains of bacteria are often resistant to common antibiotics.

Isotretinoin(roaccutane) is an oral retinoid which also exists in topical form. It is used in severe forms of acne where other treatments do not work. It works by drying oily secretions. It has a number of side effects which results in aches, dryness of skin and pain and headaches.
