Pores can be found in humans, animals and plants. In humans, pore is an opening into a sebaceous gland, Sebaceous gland means a gland that secretes sebum for lubricating hair and skin. In plants, pores exist in leaves. The pores are known as stoma in this case. Pores are a natural part of the skin. Large pores are caused by genetics and age.
When oil glands in skin begin to increase the amount of oil, Pores become enlarge. Enlarged pores almost found around the nose.
Factors for the formation of enlarged pores:
- Improper cleansing: Improper cleansing form enlarged pores. Cleansing cream tend to deposit in the skin pores and restrain the flow of oil, these oil apply pressure on the mouth of the pores to widen it.
- Deliberate picking and touching of acne: Artificial openings made in the skin to release the effusion from the whiteheads, pustules by squeezing, turn into pits and uneven indentations.
- Use of wrong cosmetics products: Oily based products form pores and their use is prohibited. Enlarged skin pore are formed with the use of these oily based products.
Reduce the appearance of pores:
1. You should apply a clay mask. These will absorb the oil in the blocked pore.
2. For opening the pores, steam your face for few minutes.
3. Take a bowl full of boiling water and few drops of tea tree oil. Wash your face with this lotion.
4. Lavender is good for reducing the pores. Apply lavender oil to the skin and get a good result.
How to clear pores:
Everyone wants to clean their skin. People are always buy the latest miracle cure for naturally beautiful skin. But cosmetic industry makes more and more money , so don’t be fooled. Many factors contribute to clogging of pores like; improper cleansing,makeup, excessive oil production, fingers on the face, hormones, a diet high in sugar content, dehydrated skin, excessive sweating and allergic reactions. The following ways are to unclog your pores:-
1. Your cells can work properly by keep the skin hydrated and moist. Mild moisturizer can be used to keep the skin hydrated. You should use the product with the least amount of chemical or ingredients.
2. Cleanse your pores with an alcohol-free toner. After rinsing your face, you are going to imbed that debris deeper into the pores as you layer serums and moisturizer on top. You should clean your face with toner damp cotton balls.
3. Benzoyl peroxides, glycolic acids, astringents and retinoic acids all work to prevent pores from clogging.
4. You should avoid oily products. Use only non-comedogeni products, it will not clog your pores.
5. You wear always clean cloths and do not wear tight baseball hat or helmet.
