Blackheads
When oil collects and hardens in the pores of skin blackheads are formed.
The pores are then closed with hardened sebum or oil. Since the pores are open, the tip of clogged grease is exposed to air and oxidizes which turns black.
Their dark appearance is because of the densely packed skin cells, which leads to black color.
Hence blackheads are formed in this way. Because of blackheads the pores get blocked and oil glands get affected resulting in pimples.
