Types of Perfumes
Perfume has been a vital part of human nature from the centuries. People love to stay fragranced. It is pleasurable and gives a wonderful feeling of individuality.
Earlier almost common fragrances were worn by the males and females. Today like other things, fragrances are also differentiated between men and women. Various perfume companies create fragrances that are especially for males and females.
Fragrances are basically divided into five major types, Floral, Woody, Fruity, Greens and Oriental. These are the basic categories that one can consider while selecting a fragrance as signature fragrance.
Floral:
As it is clear with the name, fragrances of this category have strong tinge of flowery fragrances. The floral fragrances are created by the extracts of different flowers such as jasmine, roses, lavender, carnation etc. Floral fragrances are the most in demand scent in the whole world.
They are loved by almost all the generations. Nowadays, they are basically worn by the ladies but some men also like wearing this type of fragrances. Anyone who wishes to feel feminine and pretty without doing showoff can go for floral fragrances. These fragrances are best suitable for all types of occasions. Woody:
The fragrances in this type include all sort of earthy tones. Sandalwood, cedar and patchouli are some usual scents of this category. They are extremely rich in natural fragrances. Woody fragrances are easy to adapt and comfortable to wear.
These fragrances are mostly worn or liked by the mature ladies who wishes to feel and smell fresh as well as want to hold on to air of sophistication. Men also like wearing these earthy fragrances. Fruity:
These fragrances are generally fresh and spicy. It is quite youthful and is suitable for all types of weather. They are best for the one who likes wearing classic fragrances with a tint of flair in it. It gives an aroma of crispness in summer and warm cider and deserts in winter. Greens:
They are very funky and chic perfumes that can be worn by sportier and youngster on any occasion. The fragrance includes the tones that are more evocative of fresh grass growth of spring.

Oriental:
These fragrances are strongest as compared to other fragrances. It includes rich undertones and sensual overtones that make it a heavy blend. Examples of oriental perfumes are Fendi by Fendi, Chance by Chanel and Intuition by Estee Lauder.
