using a final rinse of apple vinager, lemon juice and herbal teas has wonderful results. You should use organic or homemade shampoo because they are healthier for your hair. lauryl sulfates in store bought shampoo will make your hair fall out, because it is detergent based. also a scalp message with oils is very bennificial for hair loss. please make sure to drink lots of water and get sufficient rest plus lots of protien and B\'s in your diet.

massageing the scalp daily is very benificial, especially with oils.(olive or castor). I\'ve also been rinseing my hair with apple cider vinagar, lemon juice and herbal teas, this has fantastic results. There are lots of herbs to make tea for rinseing that do wonders for all sorts of problems!

@ deepti: dove is not a very good shampoo at all. i suggest looking up ways to read shampoo ingredients. dove is loaded with unhealthy stuff.
i know this may sound weird (i thought so too at first) but one of the best shampoos is actually baby shampoo. it is much more gentle. when i used it, my hairloss way reduced.

I noticed since my thyroid problems I lost alot of hair, but I had that resolved and I\'m still having my hair fall out in large amounts.. I admit I use a rubber band all the time, because I\'m a flight attendent and I have to have my hair pulled back, but I started using loose hair clips.. I noticed, well my kids noticed my bald spot on the top of my head and I\'m so depressed now and I have pretty thick hair too.. Do you think it could be due to my scalp being dry?? I use expensive shampoo.. Please help.. Thanks Danielle
