Creative Bridesmaid Gifts

When it comes to bridesmaid gifts, key rings and earrings are passé. Try being a little more creative and show your bridesmaids that you really care and appreciate all they have done.

Each maid can be given a different gift, and that way you show that you were careful in selecting her gift. Those with a literary bent of mind can be given a gift subscription to a magazine or the latest edition of her favorite author. Film buffs can be given CDs of their favorite directors. You could also give gift certificates for a movie.

A gift of something related to the person’s hobby always makes a great gift idea and is also highly appreciated. The gift may not have great utility value to the person but it shows your thoughtfulness. If your friend likes antiques, then search for one in a flea market or antique shop.

However, if you are hard pressed for time and decide to buy a similar gift for all, then you can make small tags out of cardboard with the initials of the respective maids and attach or tie them to the gifts.

Taking the maids out on a picnic also is a great idea.
