Lavender
Lavender is a small plant with beautiful flowers, which belongs to mint family. The species contains little plants, sub-plants, annuals and herbaceous plants.
The native variety enlarges across the Mediterranean areas such as India and Arabia, East and North Africa and South Europe. As the planted forms are grown in gardens wide reaching, they are rarely found rising wild.
Lavandula angustifolia is the common specie of Lavender. A large verity of cultivated plants (cultivars) can be found. L.multifida, L.stoechas and L.dentate are also mostly cultivated in the gardens.
Lavender has a subsequent effect. Essential oil, which is taken out from lavender’s flowers, has numbers of uses. It is well known for decreasing muscular pain, headaches and tension.
In fact, Lavender is a well-known essential oil. It has been applied for numbers of years. The word “Lavender” is derived from Latin “Lavare” that stands for wash.
Essential lavender oil is beneficial to treat wounds. An individual also used some drops of lavender oil for personal bathing. The following are some reasons of popularity of lavender:

Take 3-4 drops of Lavender essential oil and a cup of ordinary water. Mix both of them well and tip onto the hair and scalp. After that, one should stand in the running water and enable oils to wash off. |
Lavender Massage
This is a mostly successful method to use the oils when an individual have sore and tight muscles. The oils will be soaked up rapidly into the blood flow, thus supporting the mind and body. Do not rub pure oils; always apply superior quality vegetable oil. One should take 5-6 drops of lavender essential oil and mix it into 10ml of vegetable oil. After that, apply on the desired area.
Lavender steam inhalation
It is helpful for flu and colds and also beneficial to remove acne from the surface of the skin. Mix some drops of lavender oil into a cup of boiled water. Set a clean towel over the head and shoulder and take deep breaths in the vapor. One should keep the eyes close.
Lavender Compress
Mix a few drops of lavender oil in warm water. Wet a piece of clean cloth in it and then squeeze out and used on part of the human body. Apply cold and distilled water for treating sprains and muscular injuries.
